Down to Business.
What I do: Design magazines! Publication and editorial design are my specialty. I have over 12 years experience in print and digital media. I also have experience in photoshoot direction, styling, photo editing, and art direction for several publications. My skill set extends to brand and web redesign, OOH, marketing, you name it. I’m up for any creative challenge!
What I appreciate most about my work: The opportunity to take a writer’s stories and bring them to life in an engaging way for the reader. It’s also still very rewarding to continuously see my work in print!
What I look forward to in my industry: I look forward to seeing how technology will advance the design industry even further. So much has changed in such a short amount of time. I’m excited to see how technology and AI will simplify mundane tasks, giving designers more efficiency and the ability to focus on the creative.
Favorite project: We produce the “Best of 225 Awards” issue annually. It’s always an exciting issue for all businesses that are nominated or win. It make's me happy to help these small businesses get their spotlight each year.

Let’s get personal!
Born: Baton Rouge, Louisiana (Geaux Tigers!) 💜
Favorite Childhood memories: Going to my family fishing camp. The smell of boiled crabs, swamp mud, and mosquito spray will forever bring me back! 🦀
You probably wouldn’t guess: My husband and I met as college cheerleaders working for UCA staff. We re-connected 10 years later! 📣
Not so guilty pleasure: Pop culture podcasts and Taylor Swift! 🪩🐍
A time you did something brave: In 2018 my husband and I bought an RV and renovated it. In 2020, in the middle of Covid, we left LA and moved to the mountains of Colorado! 🚌 🗺️ We’ve since sold the RV, gotten engaged and married. In 2024 we welcomed our baby boy, Graham. Happy to say RV life catapulted us to this beautiful life.
You live how high? We currently live in the mountains at 10,300’. Almost two miles high! 🏔️
Hobbies: The challenge of baking at high altitude! (Many collapsed cakes and flat cookies were made!) Caring for my plants, birds, and many chipmunks once the snow melts. Something I never experienced in the South! 🧁🐿️
